Designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina in 1969, this armchair changed the face of upholstered furniture. With a vise-like grip, the metal structure holds the armchair, with its biodegradable internal padding that, for the first time ever, needs no internal support, intensifying the comfort level of the chair.
The seat’s comfort is further heightened thanks to a 100% recycled blown fibre padding produced from PET recovered from Plastic Bank®. Upholstered in bianco white fabric.
