Beth Sachse

bio_bethBeth Sachse raised three sons and several boxer dogs who have all been connoisseurs of laps and cushions. She’s tuned in to utility, comfort and balance. Artwork is one of her favorite design elements. Beth thinks the way we live helps communicate who we are, what we dream, where we’ve been and where we are willing to go. Her design inspiration comes from traveling and observing all interpretations of seductive harmony. She likes to juxtapose old and new, natural and manmade, and luxurious and modest. This brings together a mixture of design elements which serve to downplay each other’s faults while enhancing their charm. “A room in your home should be like a gathering of interesting friends.” Beth’s collaborative work with her sister and business partner, Sallie Hughes, began under their mother’s tutelage and has continued for 30 years. Her work has been published in Traditional Home, Metropolitan Home, Southern Living as well as Better Homes and Gardens books, New Classic Style and New Decorating Book.

Sallie Hughes

bio_sallieThe importance of home was taught to Sallie by her mother at an early age. She feels “your home should reflect your personal style, humor, spirit and soul.” Sallie also feels strongly that there should be a reason to use every room in your home. With more than thirty years of experience, one of her greatest assets is her ability to create functional space with a harmonious flow. She has been able to use her talent in both private residences and commercial jobs all over the United States. Over the years, Sallie’s collaborative work with her business partner and sister, Beth Sachse, has been published in Traditional Home, Metropolitan Home, Southern Living, as well as Better Homes and Gardens books New Classic Style and New Decorating Book. Possessing a great love of nature, Sallie loves to pass the time at her cabin in the woods reading and enjoying the wildlife. “I consider myself a success if my clients delight in their home as much as I do my own.”
